Reports To: Senior Care Manager

Job Summary: The Medical Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of RT Medical’s primary care clinic operations. This role involves supervising staff, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care and service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of healthcare management, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the medical clinic.
    • Ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
    • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
    • Manage office supplies and inventory.
  2. Staff Supervision:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise clinic staff, including receptionists, medical assistants, and other support staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
    • Address staff concerns and foster a collaborative work environment.
  3. Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage clinic budgets.
    • Monitor and control expenses.
    • Oversee billing
    • Handle payroll and financial reporting.
  4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure compliance with Ontario healthcare regulations and standards.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality and data security.
    • Implement quality assurance programs and monitor outcomes.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
  5. Patient Relations:
    • Address patient concerns and complaints.
    • Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
    • Promote a welcoming and professional clinic environment.
  6. Technology and Systems Management:
    • Oversee the use and maintenance of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
    • Ensure staff are trained in relevant technology and software.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT support.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare management or medical office administration.
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance, including Ontario-specific regulations.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in EHR systems and other office software.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
